The purpose of the role is to provide support to the Revenue Lead for the effective management of the company's Commercial revenues across all business units, you will need proficient knowledge of accounting, financial reports, budgeting and forecasting.

Providing support across the Commercial revenue function of the Financial Planning & Analysis Centre of Excellence in order to provide accurate, insightful and timely financial performance reporting of the companys key revenue drivers.

  • Support the Commercial revenue function by preparing, reporting, and analysing Commercial revenue information and related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist in Commercial revenue forecasting, revenue management, and variance analysis, offering guidance and advice to business stakeholders.
  • Prepare and analyse complex financial information, extracting and defining relevant data to determine financial trends, forecast results, and explore financial implications of new business opportunities.
  • Analyse and report on financial performance, making recommendations for improvements to drive growth and optimise Commercial revenue.
  • Collaborate across different business units to standardise revenue recognition policies, establish best practices, and streamline processes in alignment with revenue and business objectives.

Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of accounting, financial reports, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong experience in Commercial revenue recognition, revenue management and the ability to provide unique insights on these areas.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse complex financial data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for the preparation and presentation of analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audience.
  • Possess the ability to identify problems, review related information, develop, and evaluate options, and implement solutions.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality of information.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS Office and financial systems/tools (e.g. SAP/Oracle, Tableau)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting, financial reports, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Previous experience in finance, accounting, or similar related area.
  • Strong industry experience in revenue recognition, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in implementing process improvements.
  • Expertise in utilising financial reporting, modelling, planning, and data visualisation tools.
